Hi, and welcome to the secret zone! Here are the comics I did earlier on, starting on December 25th 2006 (Christmas is so boring) and going up to about May, or April 2007. I don't like these one iota. Although I do like the words and jokes for the majority of them, they're still too illegible and amateurish for them to be on a visible level. Sure sure, you learn as you go on blah blah blah...they're stayin' here.
Drake: When she hit that high C I thought my head was going to explode, like that guy in Scanners...
Johan: Drake?
Drake: What?
Johan: We clocked off hours ago.
Drake: I know; thank Gods we...
Johan: That means I'm not being paid to like you now.
The first strip I did. It took me seven hours to do this one strip, whereas now it takes me less than five to do a far better one. Although I still like this joke (I said something similar to this to someone from where I work. He thought I was joking, but I was being serious.)

Priqué: Hi, can I get a...
Barman: You got I.D.?
Priqué: I.D.? Since when have you I.D.'ed people?
Barman: Since the council busted us for serving minors.
Priqué: What's wrong with that? After a long day digging, I'd want a drink as well.
Barman: Look, no I.D., no drink.
Priqué: Fine, but if I can't find it I'll bring back a gun instead!
35 MINUTES LATER
Priqué: Couldn't find my gun; will my badge do?
Barman: That'll do nicely, Detective! So what can I get ya?
Priqué: A coke, thanks.
I like this strip, exactly the kind of jokes I like. You do get the jokes, right? As far as I see, there are five jokes; one visual, and four word ones. My favourite is the coke joke. Ask me on the forum if you don't get it, and I'll berate you for being stupid.

Taflyn: Morning Priqué.
Priqué: Morning Taflyn.
Taflyn: Got a hangover?
Priqué: Nah, I've been going to the gym everyday.
Taflyn: One more pun and you'll be going to the physio as well.
Priqué: I was taking a reality check over a pint, OK? I know I was thinking about quitting the force and getting a job I enjoy; I was determined not to come in today...but...
Taflyn: The check bounced?

Hmmm. I was really quite pleased with how this one looked once it had finished, but I remember it took a very long time to get those two to look right in those two panels. Nowadays, while still not being that good, I can draw it within five minutes. Also, the jokes are pretty clichéd. Thank GOD I'm so much better now, eh? Eh?

I truly thought the crayons would be a totally unique idea. What a doughtnut, I hear you exclaim.
